You can also disassemble items to retrieve valuable crafting resources. Disassembly is the most efficient way of gaining these resources - in a short period of time, you can gain hundreds of materials that will be used to craft valuable equipment or weapons.

The frustrating thing you need to know about how to give items to other players in The Division 2 is that it’s not clear exactly which items can be shared, and which can’t. The game doesn’t really explain the system either, so players are left to figure stuff out for themselves. However, we’re here to help.
Now that you’ve identified a piece of gear that can indeed be shared with other players, you’ll want to press the L3 button to view the item options. From there, just choose the Share option.

Any items that you have in your inventory that can be shared and traded to others will have a distinct little icon in the top left corner. If you have an item that can be traded, click on it and in the bottom right corner you'll see a bunch of information about that item.
You can actually join your friend and do a mission together, all the items that drop for you will be scaled to your GS level, meaning that you can then trade those items to your friend and boost them up incredibly quickly. This little neat trick can be used to reach World Tier 5 very fast.
