Your church obligations should not make you miserable, and don’t look over your shoulder to see what you think you should be giving. Give $1 or $1,000, or whatever feels comfortable. There’s no point in attending church if we use it as an opportunity to judge our neighbors for what they did or didn’t put into the collection plate.
