With the item in your inventory (do NOT add it to your own decorations by right clicking on it), open your Guild Bank. Click on “Decoration Donation” on the lower left side. Drag the item you want to donate into the box and a pop up will appear. Click “Yes” and the item will be available for use in your Guild Stronghold or Flagship.
Oct 27, 2014 · You can donate all your decorations as long as you dont click on them, I mean you buy them, leave them on your bag then you can donate them to your guild using the guild bank, there is a box on the lower left corner where you drop your donations there, if you double click on the item you will consume them and you cannot donate them, they will disappear.

To make them useable in you stronghold, you need to right-click the items in your inventory. Be careful – once you use them you can no longer sell them or give them away, so think before you right-click! Once you have right-clicked them, they will be added to your decorations list.
Right click on the green, blue, or purple tiles on the ground. If the item you want to place can fit on that square, it will show up in the list of available decorations you've unlocked. Once it's placed, you can turn and slide it around.Aug 19, 2014

A stronghold's prestige is basically your number of owned decorations multiplied with the completion percentage of the stronghold. A stronghold 100% filled with chairs will have higher prestige than a well thought out layout using very rare decorations but staying at 80% to avoid cluttering up the place.Jul 27, 2019

The funnest way to show off your stronghold is to post in general chat on the fleet that you are giving a tour, then invite people. Make sure your house is well decorated and you are ready for strangers to come in – many people will comment or criticize on your stronghold if you are there. Be prepared to deal with strange people – if they annoy you, you can kick them out of your stronghold by entering their name in the Strongholds panel.
