Unincorporated areas of Pottawattamie County, Iowa. We will get them vaccinated and sterilized as soon as we can after the 5 day holding period or soon after a dog is surrendered. The price for adoption will be $120 and just like it is now.
At the time of adoption, all of our dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, have a nationally registered micro-chip, are current on all shots (including rabies), have been de-wormed, and have had a heart-worm test. They will be bathed, have their ears cleaned, and receive flea treatments as needed.
As part of Pottawattamie County Animal Control, our shelter sees all kinds of animals! However, our shelter was designed to house only dogs, so we are always looking for foster homes to house these other animals. We are a small shelter, but we seem to have large needs at all times. We need donations for medical care for our dogs.
We currently hold events at Petsmart in Council Bluffs on the first and third Sundays of each month! We are located outside of Council Bluffs, Iowa just off I-29 South at exit 42 (Bellevue exit).
