What is the Blaze Foundation?

The Blaze Foundation is a non-profit organization created to help serve those in the Cobb County/North Fulton area who are home-bound during this time. We are offering our services in a variety of needed ways throughout the community. The service request form is intended primarily for the senior community or those with other health related issues that make everyday errands difficult or could potentially put them at risk due to COVID-19. Simply fill out the form to request a service such as grocery pickup, mailing packages, donation runs, etc. We will match your request with a student volunteer in the community who is looking to give back. Anyone willing to participate as a volunteer is encouraged to fill out the volunteer form.

What is volunteer in school?

Volunteers are primarily high school and college aged students in the local community looking to give back and serve others. Each volunteer is asked to submit information including their school, address, contact information, and character references. All references are checked and verified.

Can volunteers handle money?

Volunteers are not allowed to handle money of any kind to complete transactions with the exception of a reasonable tip after completing the service. Please make arrangements for payment of all goods in advance. Any monetary transaction should occur directly with the store.
