Mar 21, 2021 · Where can I donate brand new intermittent catheters? I don't know if anyone can help me with this question. I don't like to waste anything. I have to cath my husband every 4 to 6 hours. Well, last month the urologist changed my husband's catheter prescription to a different one. My husband can no longer use the caths from the previous prescription.
We accept all types of equipment and supplies related to health care, not just those in the brief list below. We do NOT accept medicine, contaminated items, or hopelessly broken items. Please do not use us as an alternative disposal facility. Diabetic test strips, liquid nutrition, formula, etc., may be expired up to a year.

Machinery and equipment that might be outdated in Western hospitals can be a blessing in a mission hospital, if it is appropriate, functional, and properly installed. World Medical Mission carefully evaluates potential donations to ensure that we send only good quality, useful, and appropriate equipment and supplies.
When collecting medical equipment for donation, please make every effort to find patient cables, transducers, power cords, recorder paper, spare parts, and operator and service manuals. In developing countries, mechanical tables and equipment that are simple to operate and not dependent upon electricity are preferred. Equipment that requires electricity to operate should function on both 50Hz and 60Hz and be easily convertible to a different voltage. In general, equipment should not be older than 15 years from date of manufacture.

Project C.U.R.E .’s Cargo program delivers semi-trailer-sized cargo containers carrying medical donations to under-resourced hospitals, clinics and community health centers in developing countries. They also send C.U.R.E. Kits that are suitcase-sized, pre-packed kits of basic medical supplies that can be easily transported and checked as luggage on your next trip to a community in need abroad.
