What We Do

Hangers serves any EVSC student in need, with recommendation from a school counselor, principal, social worker, nurse, or other school staff. Once we receive a student’s service form, we set up an appointment for a visit to Hangers. EVSC-approved volunteers transport students to our facility.

History

The PTA Clothing Bank was created by Evansville Area Council PTA in the early 1950’s as a joint venture with the Goodwill Industries. Evansville PTA operated the clothing resource for over 60 years among various locations in the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC).
