North Jersey-native Samantha Cattano is raising money for Thanksgiving meals and Christmas and Hanukkah gifts for families living in shelters. She’s also accepting supplies for several charities. Cattano began fundraising last year after losing her father to suicide. Cattano’s father was a charitable and giving man, she said, and she hopes to honor his memory through her supplies drive. “I want to continue to carry out my father’s legacy and make him proud in heaven,” she said.
