Drop-off donations are welcome at “Bay 8” of our warehouse from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. every day we are open (currently Thursday - Sunday). Pick-ups typically occur between 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. on weekdays. The most efficient way to request a pick-up for items you wish to donate is to fill out the form below.
Items We Accept. We accept donations of new, excess, or gently-used building materials, appliances, furniture, and more. Your donation helps support programs and services dedicated to reducing waste. Kitchen cabinets should be in good working order: Check to make sure that the drawer pulls work, and keep the doors and drawers together when you donate them.
Lighting. Light fixtures can be recycled through salvage shops or through other community organizations. Salvage shops often have a high demand for working light fixtures, and many community organizations use donated light fixtures when rehabilitating low-income homes.
Lumber. Wood from framing or home improvement projects can be easily recycled. Most organizations that accept donated lumber request that it come without exposed nails and screws because these can pose a safety hazard. Other concerns include wood with ripped or sharp edges and some types of treated wood.
With over 7,000 locations across the U.S., Goodwill makes it easy to donate your items. While Goodwill does not currently accept large household appliances they will happily take any gently used small appliances.

Our stores take gently used items in good condition. Donations should be clean, safe and resaleable. Your donations to Goodwill are tax deductible. You can find all donation sites here. We are unable to do home pick-ups. To find a list of items we cannot accept, please scroll to the next section.
Goodwill employees may decline a donation if it is not in clean or in saleable condition or if they are unable to assist with larger items due to risk of injury. Our employees often help unload donations, however cannot help if (in their judgement) doing so may damage any vehicle, or if doing so is unsafe for them or anyone else.
