Mar 25, 2022 · Donate Materials Community Forklift offers limited free donation pickup service during the Covid-19 crisis. Donated building materials are the cornerstone of Community Forklift. We couldn’t exist without them. By donating, you can qualify for a tax deduction, reduce disposal costs, keep items out of the landfill, and support the community.
Our nonprofit operates out of a 250,000 square foot warehouse near the stadiums in South Baltimore. You can find directions here. The store is open for shopping and donating from 9 to 5 Thursday through Sunday. Please contact us if we can be of any service. Tools: New and gently used hand and power tools can also be found in great condition at ReStore. This includes hammers, table saws, drills, sanders, lawnmowers, gardening tools, and more. Hardware: To make sure ReStore is a one-stop-shop, we supplement our used building materials with new hardware, such as nails, screws, drill bits, and more.
Habitat ReStore staff and volunteers make the donation process as simple as possible. You can always donate goods in person, and many Habitat ReStores offer free pickup of large items. Here’s how the process works.

Our deconstruction services are an environmentally sound alternative to conventional demolition. Deconstruction is the process of carefully and systematically disassembling and removing previously constructed items with the intent to reuse them elsewhere. The deconstruction team carefully dismantles everything from kitchen and bathroom cabinets to countertops, plumbing fixtures, and lighting.
