We are now in year 2 of our group Scraps & Bits Wish Book Team and have made and donated over 300 full scrapbooks to Make a Wish recipients. Always looking for donations and/or inexpensive supplies to help curb some of the expense of making these books.

Where can I donate jewelry making tools?

Assistance League of Boise is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3). Your contributions are fully tax deductible. We are an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff, therefore your contribution is maximized. All donations stay in Ada County, benefiting adults and children in need through our philanthropic programs. Your gifts are greatly appreciated.

Honor Family and Friends

Donations may be made to honor the memory of a loved one or celebrate significant events. We will send a card to the person or family you have chosen to honor. Gift amounts are not listed.

Grants from Corporations and Foundations

Assistance League of Boise’s Grants Committee writes proposals to support our philanthropic programs. Grants are especially helpful during this time of great need throughout our community.

Support us with Fred Meyer Rewards

Do you shop at Fred Meyer stores? They have a community plan that can earn Assistance League of Boise donations every time you shop! All you need is a Fred Meyer Rewards card! You still earn your Rewards Points, Fuel Points, and Rebates, just as you do today.

Thrift Shop Donations

Proceeds from our Thrift Shop help fund our philanthropic programs. Bring your donations of new or gently-used items to our Thrift Shop at 5825 Glenwood in Garden City. Stay to shop. We offer quality merchandise at affordable prices.

Philanthropic Endowment Fund

Help create a lasting legacy! A permanent philanthropic endowment fund has been established at the Idaho Community Foundation for Assistance League of Boise’s philanthropic programs. Contributions to this fund ensure that our philanthropic programs will continue into the future, helping those in our community who are less fortunate.

Donations are meant to serve as a reminder to the recipients that they are not alone. Knots of Love handmade creations are distributed free of charges to hospital and treatment centers throughout the US. Patterns are available on the Knots of Love website.
